Hi all,
I have a little stupid question, but I cannot find my QlikView Serial Number. As seen in the picture it's not in my About QlikView tab:
As you can see I'm currently leasing license from our server.
I tried also the Document Support Information but also didn't find the serial number.
The reason I need it is because I'm playing with security.
Can anyone help?

If you are using the personal edition, you do not have any serial number, think this is also the case with leased server CALs.
Well I think this gives me the serial number of the server and if i provide it in the section access under SERIAL I cannot open it from my qlikview desktop
edit: johan this sounds logical, but how can I enable Serial verification in section access in this case?
Appreciate this is an old thread but I had a similar problem where the documentation said to use the serial number from the QV server although I couldn't get it to work, I managed to fix the problem but using another method.
I'm using QV10, I have a server and publisher which schedules reload tasks.
Set up the Section access with at least one USERID, PASSWORD and ACCESS as:
ADMIN,123,ADMIN
On QEMC when you're setting up a schedule task, on the second tab "Reload" there is an option to enter a USERID and PASSWORD for Section Access. Enter what you have previously set up in the QVW and the refresh will now work......
