QlikView Server DSC service is down

Hello All,

I have occured an issue on my qlikview server. The DSC service is down.

I was trying to get license from the QlikView Desktop. It always failed.

I really don't know what happened and how to fix it.

Can anybody help to explain the error and how to fix the issue?

Thank you very much!

Best Regards.

Adam Gao

The finally reason I find is due to the user password not updated in the QMC login page

What does your DSC configuration look like? I hope you're not trying to query the domain controller for domain xxxx.com, are you?

Post a screen of the QMC setting (QMC->System->Setup->Directory Service Connectors->DSC@YourServer->Active Directory)

Hi Adam,

Maybe because you using a domain, you need a service user for that domain , not local?

Should setup the Service users as Admin and Qlik Admin Group, and also setup it to Log On As Qlik Services and run using that user.

Thanks,

Kevin
