Hello,
I have a problem in Qlikview and am not able to see what could be the problem. Actually i am using incremental loading. The first time i load it, the reports works fine.
The second time i load it, the report again works pretty well...this time reading 0 lines from source..and fetching data from QVD files
The third time, what i did was, delete one of the QVDs to test my incremental load. This time, the log shows that report did perfectly well. Rest of the files were read from QVDs, while one file was read from source files since its QVD did not exist, so there was no max..and the report read all the data for that file
When i compare the log file, everything seems normal. The numbal of rows being stored in QVD everytime is exactly the same. However, with this third time loading, some of the drilldown functionality stops workings. The quantity in one table suddenly stopped showing against dimensions in another table. I am soo confused. The loading and logfile seems perfectly all right, but the report starts acting wierd
in the first and second load, the connection between those two tables worked perfectly well. However, in this third load, where the data is again read from source file, it seems as if there is no common key between those two tables, and its really wierd
Has any one came across such scenarios, and if yes, can you please help me. I am realy out of ideas now
br
Arif
There is one more issue that i just found. Even though the number of rows are same being stored in qvd, as shown in the log file. The size of QVD is different everytime. is it possible?
