Qualify and Unqualify in Synthetic keys

Hello,

Please provide me the best Example for Qualify and Unqualify along with the data,and as well Info load and it would be great.

Hi Vishnu,

if your data is huge and has lot of fields which are in common , then we opt for qualify which will make all our fields unique. Every field name will get name like tablename.fieldname , this will load all the table independently without any link between the table.

Later if u want to link this table use UNQUALIFY field name which will link the tables using this fieldname.

Hi,

Normally column names in Qlikview would be the Column name in a database total, if you want to change that pattern to TableName.FieldName then you can use QUALIFY, to qualify all columns or particular columns in a table.  Refer Qlikview help file for more details.  Generally this technique is use to avoid Synthetic keys and circular loops.

For Info load check below thread, generally this load is used to bundle the resources like images along with the Dashboard.
