Hello to everyone.
I would like to ask for help to solve a problem with data structure i'm facing. I'm a newbie with qlikview, just starting and i'm now starting an application from a previously existent structure.
Before we start remodeling our data, we used to have a single fact table with everything on it. Since the data described completly different type of data (we were also facing problems with the size of the final structure), we decide to devide things.
At the beggining we made a table for Sales and a Tabel to Stock, after that we created a LinkTable (the link was based of fields Branch_Code, Product, Product_Color, and Size, those formed ChaveLinkTable key). At this point everything works perfectly.
After that we tried to add another table... the problem is that the third table needs to be related with Sales table and for that we created another LinkTable (but now based on fields Sale_Date and Branch_Code)... after reloading the script, we start getting circular reference alert.
I understand why i'm getting this error, but i'm not able to find a solution for that (At least, without concatenating things...).
Do you guys have something to suggest ? Sorry for my bad english, hope i expressed myself well enough.
