Hi,

you've not been at a training?

Pivottable groups all data for every dimension in their order and can not be changed in sortorder by the user. You can drag and drop some of the dimensions as a title line above the table.

The straight table shows all data in order of the column you mark by doubleclick asc or desc. here you can also change the order of the columns.

Hello Jai,

Pivot tables allow you to show subtotals by dimension, and use dimensions in both columns and rows, while straight tables will show your expressions without grouping totals.

You can expand / collapes pivot tables as well, but not straight tables.

You have detailed documentation in the reference manual pp. 215 onwards.
