Hi Frnds

                  I have seen finance controlling project in qlikview.i want to do this as my own.i have collected all the tables into excel sheet.

Now i want to know hw to start this project.I hve seen some dashboards.i didnt understand,so plz help me to clear my doubts

First of all you have to script.

Load your data (xls files) and build a star data model

use the wizard to make it step by step

i share to you the great exemple with QlikTech!

Pavan,

1. Load all excel files what you had exported into script.

2. Take one dashboard from finance controlling app and try to understand it.

3. See how many dimensions and expression we had in that dashboard.

4. Try to understand each dimension and expression in that chart. Once you understood then try to develop that chart in your qvw file by adding one by one dimension or exp.
