Reload button with simple underlying MACRO doesn't work.

Dear all,

On a welcome page sheet, I've classicaly add a button with an underlying macro

(

Sub Reload
ActiveDocument.reload
End Sub

)

But nothing happen when I publish the document on the QV Server, even if i've selected both checkbox 'Allow unsafe macro execution' as well as 'Allow macro execution on the server'.

Can anybody help mefor this need?

Thanks in advance for any inputs,

Michael,

If when you say 'publish the document on the QV Server' you mean access to it is through the plugin, you cannot reload the document with this.

It is possible outside of Qlikview but it is messy.

I personally have my users (iSeries) run a reload request by calling a menu option that runs a 'run remote command' to the Qlikview server (which works well and is simple) but rather specific to my site.

Gordon

Hi Gordon,

Yes, that's it........through AJAX indeed on QV10..........we really need to implement an on-demand functionality...don't know what to do ;-<

Thank you,

Michaël.

............ I'm afraid EDX only works with IE Plugin and we go through AJAX.......(QV10) - do you have any sample of implementation?

Thank you,

Michaël.
