Reload failed when reloading from QV server

Hi

I have a problem with reloading from the QlikView server. The reload works fine when I open the document with the QlikView 10 client, but it constantly fails when I set it up as a task in the QV server. I get these messages in the task log:

(2011-10-12 13:58:45) Information: Executing ClusterID=1, QDSID=751b6c21-4655-23c5-0594-eca36c30b817 QDSMain.DistributeTask

(2011-10-12 13:58:45) Information: Starting task "QVD/IVQVD.qvw" (Attempt 1 of 1)

(2011-10-12 13:58:45) Information: Max run time: 06:00:00

(2011-10-12 13:58:45) Information: Document is marked for refresh; Initializing Reload.

(2011-10-12 13:58:45) Error: The document was not reloaded because the path "" could not be found.

(2011-10-12 13:58:45) Error: Reload failed. Distribution skipped.

(2011-10-12 13:58:45) Error: The task "QVD/IVQVD.qvw" failed. ErrorCount=2

I found this in the event log:

2011-10-11 17:46:11 2011-10-12 09:31:39 2 500 Warning File: Shared File Disappeared: C:\QlikView\Source Documents\Qvd\QVD\IVQVD.qvw.Meta.
2011-10-11 17:46:11 2011-10-12 09:31:39 2 500 Warning File: Shared File Disappeared: C:\QlikView\Source Documents\Qvd\QVD\IVQVD.qvw.Meta.
2011-10-11 17:46:11 2011-10-12 09:31:39 1 300 Error qvpx: Exception while handling request

I guess it indicates that something is wrong with the path or so, because I have the file: C:\QlikView\Source Documents\Qvd\IVQVD.qvw.Meta , but not C:\QlikView\Source Documents\Qvd\QVD\IVQVD.qvw.Meta

No matter what I try, I can't solve the problem.

Please advice me what I should do.

Best regards,

Mikael

I can't see that anything is incorrect with my paths. I have attached a few files which might give a hint on what the problem is.

Hello Mikael,

Which version of v10 are you using?

Could it be user permissions related? You could check whichusername the QlikView service's are using, and make sure that username has fulldisk access to the qlikview folders.

Hi Peter

Thank you for your tip, I checked that before. I solved it by reinstalling the QV server.

Hi.

I have a question. I've got the same error I wonder if you made the resettlement of the QlikView Server only or the whole OS?

Thank you.
