Is there any function to detect whether reload is going on in Qlikview.

you can find last reload time but there is no function to find reload is going i hope

Except QMC or an interface that uses the QMS API I do not think there will be a way to find out if Reload in progress.

Do you have a requirement to show whether reload is in progress or not?

You can look to the .log files of each reloaded Document, or like other suggested here to have a look on the QMC...
