Reload via Accesspoints

Has anyone been able to create a button to allow a user to reload a document via Accesspoints?  I have a user which has nothing but spreadsheets going into a model with a few QVD's.  She modifies the spreadsheets a few times before she gets it right and I would like to create a button to allow her to do her own reload after she modifies her spreadsheets.  Any ideas?

Thanks

Take a look at the following Help link, this is related to EDX trigger call, which I think you could setup to be called via one of the Button Actions:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/November2018/Subsystems/Server/Content/QV_Server/QlikView-Serve...

The other thing you could do is set her up as a Document Administrator, see the following Help link for that one:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/November2018/Subsystems/QMC/Content/QV_QMC/QMC_PublisherDocumen...

Article link as well: https://support.qlik.com/articles/000004048

The latter is likely the easier route to be honest.  The only catch is you may not have structured your QDS Source Doc Folder structure to Accommodate this very well, and a caveat here is if you change things via the QMC, anything you change, will likely break associated tasks on those folders.  You can make those changes directly in the QVPR SourceDocumentFolderResource.xml file in that case, to any existing folders, if you add new folders, that should not be a a problem, but be sure you do not create parent/child relationships here either, that is a bad thing to do as well.  This should potentially give you a couple of options.  Oh, this does assume you have a Publisher license, almost forgot to mention that key fact.  EDX is possible with Reload Engine though, so if no Publisher, then EDX would be the only way to go.

Brett
