Hi,
I am new to QlikView. I am trying to produce a report which would display all possible values.
For example:
I created a report where one of the items is Company Sales. It is a bar chart where dimension is Date and Company and expression a total of sales for each month. If I click on a different company on the legend, it will display monthly sales for that company, if I click on another one, it will show different values.
The problem is, I would like all the charts for all the companies displayed in the report one after another. I tried using banding setting but this produces a separate report for each value. I need just one report with all the values.
Please could you help me with ideas.
Insert another page for the items that should be displayed only once after the page with the company chart. You can enable banding on the first page so it loops over the companies and don't set any banding on the second page.
You can also use banding for pages. See page settings.
Thanks for reply.
If I use page settings, then it produces only one report but in that report it loops through Company and then the report displays all the different values for all the items on the report.
All I want to see is as many charts as there are companies and then other items in the report. Other items should only be displayed once though, after all the company charts.

Brilliant!
Just one more little problem, if I do this, it displays one chart per page. Is it possible to display more than one chart per page? It seems like a waste of paper otherwise as this report will have to be printed.
Sure, if there's space for more charts you can put more charts on them.
But how would I do it? It automatically puts all the looped through charts on separate pages
Oh, I see what you mean now. No, that's not possible. Banding on pages creates a new page for every item of the field used for banding.
Thanks for help. You just saved me hours and hours of trying to figure it out
