I need to restrict access to 2 objects, one container and one button. I am assuming I use the conditional option within the show area. How to go about refencing the XLS file for these objects?
You can use section access. You can find an example here that applies this to sheet objects. You can do the same thing with your button and container. It's all based on a table loaded from excel and conditional display expressions.
