Run Macro through QV Server v.10 ?

Is it possible to run macros on post reload when the document is reloaded by a qlikview server v10. In v9 I know that is not possible.

If you don't have Publisher, you'll need to use an external task scheduler like you mentioned before.

I did some testing on this on two servers, one with QlikView 9 SR3 and one with SR5 and found the following:

SR3: a document with an alert that sends a mail does NOT send the mail when run from server.

SR5: a document with an alert that sends a mail DOES send the mail when run from server.

I originally tested this early last year, so it would have been on SR2 or 3, so maybe that was a bug that was resolved in later versions.

So I was wrong, an email can be sent from an Alert in a document run from the server.
