How to access a PL/SQL package from QlikView ? Well you probably think this must be done in PL/SQL prior to you load from the Oracle tables. This is in many situations good enough to provide the decrypted information the day after, typically in you datawarehouse. In this case, it should be a application controlled by the user and reloaded by EDX. The nice about this, you can directly from you application, make a nested select in the SQL you parsing to Oracle. This will access your package in the same way as in offline mode. I found this ability in QlikView very powerful and it gives the developer and enduser much more flexibility and it saved us from an IT request and 6 months waiting on the new field.
