SAP/Hyperion as data source

Hi All,

Can someone help me in guiding me with a few clarification on these data source which i will be connecting to get data.

Is it mandatory to know more about SAP or Hyperion if the data source is SAP or Hyperion, as i have not worked on SAP or Hyperion.

I have always used SQL Server. What kind of knowledge one should require to extract data from these source.

What percentage of script require on Qlikview and SAP, to have the dashboard in place.

Please if someone can share a material on SAP and Hyperion, will be gratefull.

You need to have a understanding of SAP, modules and tables for extracting the data.  It's not easy to just say "I want to connect to SAP and pull data".  Sorry can't help you with Hyperion.
