Same QVD to be opened in QlikView and Qlik Sense

Dear Experts,

We have had an issue that QVD once used by Sense , can not be used in QlikView 11.2.  I tested and found that in QV12 creating the QVD takes same syntax as Qlik Sense.  Know I feel that we need not to use QVD header syntax  forever. Please some one confirm?

I mean now all we can write is STORE TABLE INTO C:\FILE.QVD

instead of

STORE TABLE INTO C:\FILE.QVD(qvd):

Was this QVD was created using Qlik Sense 1.0? If it was then QlikView 11.2 won't be able to read it. Look at this discussion -> Row_based qvd optimized

Now with QV 12 & QS2.+ we can achieve this seemless QVD usability.
