Same selection in alternate state

I have a field procedure in two alternate states, but when the procedure is selected in one state i'd like for it to populate in the other and vice versa.  How can I accomplish this?

I've tried using the triggers on select, select field, but I'm unaware how to include alternate state if it is possible.

I figured it out.

Once you've defined alternate states the actions Select in Field. Copy State Contents can be used to apply selections in another state.
