Schedule Reload not working when data is on a different server

Hi,

When I test data upload from inside Qlikview, manual reload the data can be imported from a different server '\\servername\path.

But when the schedule reload runs, it comes up with Fail status.

Any idea

Thank you

Innessa

Hi,

Try like this.. create network drive and try to reload..

It may be failed because of windows authentication required..

Hi,

When you do a manual reload, is this the same (authenticated) user as the Qlikview service user ?

Does the Qlikview service user has the appropriate rights ?

In my opinion creating a network drive will not help, this because Qlikview is running as a service and there are no drives mapped to network shares.

Hi Paul,

How do I find out what user the qlikview service users?

When I do a manual reload I use my crodentional, but when its automatic its users a different one. I checked the service and inserted that user into the path and gave full access and still no luck.

Hi innessa2,

Sorry for the late response, I was on vacation.

Start Services in the Administrative Tools (Windows) or Start --> Run --> Services.msc

You will need to access network resources through unc paths (\\servername\sharename)
