Search Object Properties Query - Include and Exclude

Hello,

This is probably a very random question - and I'm sure there is a really simple answer to this but for the life of me I cannot seem to recall or fathom out how to resolve this problem.

Within the Search Object facility via QlikView is there a way of including and excluding key words for instance if I know the data contains "Oranges", "Apples" and "Oranges and Apples" and I want include everything which are "Oranges" and exclude everything that has "Apples" in it, what is the best way of achieving this especially for the lines which has "Oranges and Apples"?

Thanks and regards, Mike.

Hi,

you can search including keyword like this *APPLE*. Meaning put your search word in star *.

Foe excluding put - (minus) before the search word.
