Section Access ntuser vs. user

Hi *,

can I mix up section access;

eg.
Acess, Ntname
Admin, Domainx\user1

.....

and

Access, User, Password
Admin, Publisher, Publisher

The publisher user is called psu. this user shouldn't run the task.
In section access I can only set use "ntname" or user password. the task should be run with user "Domainx\user1" or if this isn't working with user: "Publisher" (not a domain user).

Only specific ntuser should be able to open up the file (don't want to have password), so I need the section access with ntname.

Anyone an idea how handle this?

Regards

Aloah

Aloah,

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but give it a try:

ACCESS, USERID, PASSWORD, NTNAME
ADMIN, *, *, DOMAINX\USER1
ADMIN, PUBLISHER, PUBLISHER, *

DOMAINX\USER1 can open the application as long as logged in as DOMAINX\USER1
PUBLISHER, will have to enter PUBLISHER/PUBLISHER to enter but the login is irrelevant.

However, if reloading in Publisher, see the section in the Publisher manual on how to configure Section Access with Publisher reloads.

Regards,

Gustav
