Section access - how to get access on new computer/username?
Hello,
I have a problem - I had my company computer changed and the username/domain changed. I tried to prepare for this change and removed all section access restrictions... almost all - I forgot about some files and now I cannot access them.
Is it possible to somehow manually enter user/domain/password when opening such file in different environment? I know the user/domain/password so I just need a way to enter it to open the files and remove section access restrictions...
Or leave, whenever possible, a "backend" with USERID and PASSWORD along with NTNAME so you can always log into the app. Not the safest way to do it but a good way to avoid these kind of issues, and usually as safe as saving users in a plain text file, if properly secured.
