Selecting all values of a Straight Table and then Locking it

Hi ,

Is it possible to select all possible values of a straight table automatically and then locking the table so that even if we use clear button then also selections remain same in that straight table. ?

Note: Clear button should not affect straight table selections.

yes  first u select all possible values.

and  go to  properties general tab   check the  readonly option.

i already tried the above steps (selecting all and then setting read only) but even then selecting clear button is clearing straight table selections which is not the requirement.
