Selection Appearance: What is [Custom] or <User Default>

What is the [Custom] color scheme? How can I customize it?

You can "customize" it by macro, using SelectionColors. Not that it gives you any additional choices, but you'll see that "Custom" value. I assume that the idea was to allow real customizations some day in future...
