Clicking a single expression cell actually performs a selection in the corresponding dimension fields. You can create a text/table object with details that is only shown when single selections are made in a series of dimension fields.
However, in QlikView it is awfully difficult to intercept the actual cell "click". That's why this workaround is probably your best option.
