Showing data in text object with refernce to chart

Can we show the value of a particular column of particular chart in text object, without using expression in the text object.Please help me out......

I have achive dthe value in text box.....Now my question is how to bring the value of ist and 2nd text box in 3rd text box(summation of text1 and textbox2)

example

1st text bx contains the value of 1st table

2nd text bx containsthe value of 2nd table

Now in third box i want show the value as a sum of(1st text bx+2nd text bx)

Please help me out... if u have solution for this query

Hi!

I would like to know how I can add values from text objects together. I have used your macro for retrieving cell values from 3 different charts and now I have 3 text object with those values. I would like to have a fourth text object were those numbers would be added together. I haven't used VBscript before so I don't know how to do it myself.
