do I understand correctly - you have a list field in a QlikView applciation on sharepoint, you have the data extracted from the qlikview list though a windows task - when you connect to the table in Qlikview there is no data in the file but if you open the file, the data is there?

when you look at the details of the file in windows explorer, does it have a file size greater than 0?  Does the file that is created have an xlsx, xls or csv extension

Hello Adam, thanks for your aswer.

Yes. You understood correctly, when I connect for the first time there is no data but when I open the file the data is there. I've checked and the file has a size greater than 0 with an XLSX extension.

Thanks!

that is very strange and yet interesting.

have you tried accessing it through Qlik but going through the different file types to see if it sees the data in a format you are not expecting?

you have 2 items out in the community regarding this issue - can you possibly delete the other one so we do not ahve duplicates and some people adressing one and other people addressing the other one?

thanks
