Sorting Issue

Hi ,

I have a straight table with account as dimensions and many metrics. I have a column having Volume-1 and Volume-2 as metrics. Volume-1 and Volume-2 are conditionally enabled and disabled based on selection in list box.

Below i have a chart with time and account as dimension and same Volume-1 and Volume-2 as metrics. Volume-1 and Volume-2 are conditionally enabled and disabled based on selection in list box.

I try to sort the upper straight table with volume by keeping this expression in priority in sort TAB.

I try to sort the lower chart with volume as expression(descending)

Thanks

Khushboo

In second chart you have 2 dimension time and account and in 1st one you have only account.

Right?

In second chart sorting will also consider time along with account while sorting.

Since account is the common field, on your second chart try moving/promoting account to the first position.

Then on the sort tab make sure the account field has Y value desc and reset the time field back to default sort
