Sorting in pivot table

I have a pivot table with one dimension which is a variable. The dimension changes when appropriate text boxes (select in field action) is selected. The tricky part is I need to sort the dimension in different order depending on what the dimension is.

How can this be achieved?

Hi Koushik,

Have you tried using the "Sort by Expression" and use the variable with Dollar Sign Expansion? So you can set the variable with new content every time it's new Dimension.

Lets say in first instance vDimension is MonthYear and in the second instance its SalesPerson. I want to sort MonthYear by Descending order and SalesPerson by alphabetical order?

Yes, it's possible. As I said earlier, try using the variables within the expression sorting or post a sample QVW file and I'll mock up an example for you.
