Store expression results into Variables

Hi,

I have created an expression using set analysis as given below:

=Sum({1<MONTHYR = {'$(=Max(MONTHYR))'}>} [Dependant Variable])

I need to store the result of above expression into a variable so that I can plot in on graph as bars.Thi variable should show in field list.Since it is set analysis function so cannot use in Edit Script section.

Please suggest ways to do so.
