Straight table: Conditional show causes weird problem

Hey,

I have a simple Straight Table Chart containing 3 dimensions and 0 expressions (unchecked "Suppress Zero-Values"). Through a variable vShowColumn2 I show/hide the second Column using "Enable Conditional" in the dimensions tab.

Now, when I hide Column2, Column3 inherits all dimension settings of Column 3 (background color, alignment etc.) ...

The settings seem to be connected to the Column Number rather than the Column itself ... That's weird behavior in my opinion. Does anybody have an idea?

Please find the attached qvw file.

Regards, Florian

Thanks Gysbert ...

I just found another way: there are actually two types of "Conditional" in the Chart Properties. The one that I used (Dimensions tab) and another one in the Presentation tab, that I haven't noticed before. Using that one works in my case

I think the only thing you can do is make the settings conditional too and have them take the variable into account.
