Strange behaviour when max(expression) returns 0

Please see attached sample.

My problem is the following.

I have a DIMENSION and VALUES for that dimension. In this extremely simple sample the pairs are.

1 / 0

1 / 1

2 / 1

3 / 0

I now create a chart with DIMENSION as dimension and max(VALUE) as expression.

While for 1 and 2 I get the expected "1", I would expect to get "0" for DIMENSION = 3 which I don't. I don't get a value at all.

So for this case as of now I use a workaround. Why does Qlikview behave like that? Am I missing something? What is the best way to deal with this problem?

Thanks everyone and have a great day.

Cheers

Benjamin

Disable the option Suppress Zero-Values on the Presentation tab of the charts properties window.

No worries, I often do too. . On the bright side, you're not likely to forget this option any time soon now.
