Subscribing to newsletters- pick English not default to local

Hallo

I'm based in Austria but really would prefer the newsletters in English. I don't know where to set that up. I'm getting everything in English on here but as soon as the mails arrive/ links it's all into German.

Anybody found how to set language preference?
