Table Box in Report

Hi All,

I have a QV app that sits over our support call information. I have designed a report to allow users to print out this info when they want to. The first page is a few images, logo's etc and some summary details about the call, but the second page needs to show a table box that lists the comment lines logged to that call.

For those calls that have less than 20 or so comment lines, everything works fine, however for those calls that have a lot of comments the table box gets re-sized so that the full number of rows are always displayed. This means that the overall width of the table box gets reduced and in some cases it's basically un-readable.

I suppose what I need for longer calls is the ability to have one table box per page, with a specified (max) no. of lines and have this auto-split at the correct points (i.e. 20 lines on page 2, 20 on page 3 and the final 15 on page 4.) Does that make sense?

Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can go about doing this?

Thanks!

WHere you add a new page to the report you can choose to add a "multipage-page" instead. That one will go over several pages if needed instead of messing up the size.

Its called multipaper-page and its just right of the normal button where you add pages. It has a bunch of settings you can play with and you can change page based on dimensions etcetera.

Thanks for your help. I thought about that, but wasn't sure if it would do the split correctly. Should have just given it a go!

Cheers!
