Table Join Question

There are tables:

Machine_Table:

Load

        Machine_name,

        Install_Date

From....

Service_Table:

        Service_OrderID,

        Machine_name,

        Service_Date

From...

Calculate the Machine QTY and Service OrderID QTY.

1. Calculate the last 3 Months Machine QTY

2. Calculate the last 1 Months Service OrderID QTY of the related last 3 Months Installed Machine QTY

There are two date, I have no idea how connect two table and How to calcuate the Service OrderID QTY.

Please help . It's urgent. Thanks.
