One of our potential customer is asking for Technical overview of QV for their legal department , not marketing materials.

They would like to get more information about the technology, Architecture with focus on information security ,

Tthis specific project deal with global platform to manage employees personal information.

floriankausler: great document, thanks! i have to ask to be completely sure though;

If a have an application that non windows users can access thorugh a custom login page an apache server to identify them QlikView will not display the log in prompt even if a have section access down to field level?

Want i'm trying to accomplish is a single sign on for non windows users through a cutom web page and security down to field level.

If you are using the usernamed of the user logging in you should be able to get down to field level without a new password prompt.
