Text color of dimension in bar chart

Hi,

I want to change the dimension label color depending upon condition:

=if(Object='Task 1',rgb(225,0,0),magenta( ))
=if(Object,'<b>')

Expression is getting changed but not the dimension.

if(Start=1, rgb(225,0,0),magenta( ))
if(Start,'<b>')

Please see the attached file.

Thanks

This is working as designed.

The attribute expressions for dimensions will only work when the chart is displayed as a straight or pivot table.

Hi Staffan,

If this is as per the design, then why option has been given?

See the attached.

Thanks

From the help file:
"Dimension data can be dynamically formatted by means of attribute expressions for a chart set to be displayed as a pivot table or straight table."

I would say that the reason that the option is still given is that you can switch between different chart types by using fast change, but I agree that might appear confusing.

If you would like to see this option implemented for bar charts etc as well you can post it as a new idea on our customer portal (www.qlik.com/support).
