About your question:

How does your current load script look like?

How does the data you have stored in your QVD look like?

Without having an idea about what you are doing, we can not really help you to improve that.

1) Try to achieve optimized load in your load statements.

2) If you have a lot of historical data, create a transform script that divides the data into years or even months and put it in qvd files that you can read as they are, i.e. optimized. This means that you have one document (a transformer) that is preparing your data and one that uses it and displays it.
