Today/Now - Timer Mode

Dear all,

Anyone know what is the default timer mode for the today and now function? Normally I use Today() or Now() (no timer mode specified).

And how the timer mode affect the result when used in the script?

Thanks

I see the official help now ‒ QlikView says so:

however the same is not mentioned for today(). But you can always test yourself and find the same.

Hello Kim,

Now() = Now(1)

Today() = Today(1)

Hi Luis,

Any official site that state that the default is 1? Can't find it in the Help site.

And for the usage in script, I guess the timer mode doesn't matter as it is always 1? (the time when the script execute the function)

Thanks! Totally missed that. (Was focusing at the description as this is the usual place for the default value)
