Total function functionality in linest m function

Hi Team,

-->can we use variable in  in total<> Expression

like :total<$(zCyclic1)>

-->if it is possible then how can i implement in my bellow logic

linest_m(total <$(zCyclic1)> aggr($(mtotalpeople),$(zCyclic1),[Date]),[Date]),

----here $(zCyclic1) contains india--

---$(zCyclic1) --it contains country's list --depend upon users selection country will be change

if the above implementation is not possible then could you please provide different code for same calculation of linest_m

Regards,

Bobby.

hi swuehl,

I noticed some of your activity on community and wanted to get in touch about an opportunity.

Could you please shoot me an email if interested (yours is set to private, hence the thread hijacking)?

Thanks

There were a couple of small issues with your expressions:

a) Dimension groups not spelled correctly in variable definition.

b) wrong syntax using total qualifier with field list (only one total qualifier allowed in the aggregation function, comma separated field list in angle brackets)

c) missing commas

I am a little tired doing these corrections which I believe you can find yourself spending some more minutes.

For now, this is my last response to this thread.

Stefan
