Track export function?

Any idea of there's a way to track how many users use the Export to Excel function? We'd like to see how popular it is, and would like to track it.

Hi.

I think you could create a button running macro that tracks the action and perform export to Excel.

If you turn on audit logging in the server settings, you'll get a "SendToExcel" record written for each use.

Do you have to manually go through the log file, or is there an app out there already that can break down the details easily?

It's relatively easy to load the file with QV. I think both the QV Ops Monitor and the QV Governance Dashboard both process audit files.
