Could you please translate the following expression:

=sum({<Date={'>=$(=MonthStart(PERI, -11))<=$(=Date(Max(PERI)))'}>} LOPP)

All this is saying is that Sum LOPP for the last 12 months.

It's difficult to understand the formulas and expressions on Set Analysis.

Would you recommend something?
