Trigger select in field based on variable

Hi to you all,

I'm trying to start a trigger based on a variable. The variable is filled with the username. If I put in a textbox, the right username is displayed. When I try to put the variable in the search stringbox,, nothing happens.These are some of the options I tried:

• ($(CurrentUser))
• "(" & $(CurrentUser) &")"

Is there somebody who know how to solve this?

Are you using an equal sign before the search string? Try may be one of these

='(' & $(CurrentUser) & ')'

or

='(' & $(=CurrentUser) & ')'

Try one of this expressions over search strings.

'$(CurrentUser)'

Or

'(' & $(CurrentUser) & ')'

Or

'(' & $(=CurrentUser) & ')'
