URL in PDF

I have a URL which works fine in my QVW, but when I print a report (using CutePDF) the link is the PDF is shortened and then doesn't work.

For example

http://XXXXX/Departments/EMEAVoice/blahblahblah.pdf

becomes

http://XXXXX/Departme.........

and when I click on the link it does not launch the full URL, it tries to launch http://XXXXX/Departme......... instead.
