Unable to open file in QlikView Server 12 via QlikView Desktop 11 32bit

Hi guys,

I have installed a QlikView 12  server on windows server 2012.

User is able to lease license from QlikView 12.

user is able to lease license from QlikView 12.

But user UNABLE to load qvw file from their QlikView Desktop 11 32bit.

User follows steps as such : - Open QlikView Desktop - File - Open In Server - Type in URL and username password  - able to see the qvw file - double click - unable to load- show white screen with loading icon, and says Not Responding.

QlikView 12 is a 64bit tool and therefore you couldn't open their applications with a 32bit version of the desktop client. You will need to upgrade your client - especially because it's not recommended to mix up different releases of server and client especially not if there is a major-release between them.

Hi Jim,

Desktop 11 32Bit Version Need to upgrade otherwise they will get the same issue, why because so many futures are upgraded in Server 12, kindly do Up gradation it will work Perfectly.
