We have a reaasonably complex document which utilises a calendar dimension which includes as you may expect a Week field. This is a numberic value at present.
For 2021 we need to report an offset in the weeks year on year, so week 2 2021 for example will show against week 3 2020.
Can build it in a simple model by having two new fields in the source load which detail the offset as required using the likes of =if(GetFieldSelections(year)=2021,weekoffset,weekstd) as a calculated dimension.
The question is, yes i got there in the end ...
As the document is complex and Week is used in numerous charts is there a way to amend the value currently being loaded as Week from say 1 to something that the existing charts would interpret as the above calculation thus not having to go in and amend all the charts?
