In one of my application ,its datamodel application is divided into 2 parts ,as it first part take more than 21 hrs ,i performed the manual reload of this application,...instead of reload using QMC , and scheduled the 2nd part by QMC ,But the application contain data till 25 aug(i.e its last execution ) ,since 2nd part is successfully reloaded so in GUI application it show data is refreshed on 3 sep 2014
But as I have 25 remote desktop connection right ,i am not check whether the 1st part after the completion of reload is saved & closed or not
Hi,
What's your issue here and what are you trying to achieve.
And why you run your first task manually?
you can schedule the same on server and run task 2 upon completion of task 1.

it failed when i schedule it through server
It should work.
You can try by increasing timeout of task which is by default 24 hours while scheduling in Trigger Task Execute option.
If that doesn't work you can run QlikView via batch file and use EDX trigger to run second task upon compleation of first one.
for more details on EDX, have a look at below post.

hi else dont put any timeout timings. u schedule it through QMC . 1st part & for second part in trigger select after successful execution of 1st. it will never fail..
its already implemented
in that case once first part over then only second part will run right? i suggest schedule both using QMC scheduler instead of manual reload. if iti is faling please check logs for error.
are you saying that the first part (qvw) task takes 21 hours to run?
how much data it has? maybe you can do incremental load if possible for the first part qvw.
Also you can check the task log file for the error messages.
yes ,incremental load is already implemented,it has records in corers with lots of calculation
