HI All,

Can we attain the same functionality of Field event triggers with Variable event triggers ?

Lets say i have a field x and field Y and they are not connected .they are two different fields .

If i select any value in X,it should trigger value in Y .

This we can achieve using field event triggers .

But we do have -Prj folder where we are loosing this fieldevent triggers after recreating the Application.

So can we achieve the same with variable event triggers ?

You should consider upgrading. Field event triggers was lost prior to 11.2 SR5.

So prior to 11.2 SR5 ,the field event triggers will be lost .
So from 11.2 SR6,will the actions/Triggers be available while recreating the QVW using -PRJ folder ?

Yes they will.

We use it here at my client. Almost all of their apps has triggers.
