User authorization in Publisher

Hello everyone, I have a problem with the settings of security with Publisher, I can not correctly assign the permissions to users, we list below what I do for the assignment, maybe it's just a lack mine.
1) I open the document want to do the assignment on the breakdown field Users I had previously linked with the year field (Immage 1)
2) check in the loop field tab and then the field User using Custom definition that I have previously defined (Immage 2)
someone can tell me where I've wrong or better more, tell me what are the correct steps to configure a file using the authorization DMS?

P.S. I've not using Active directory on my server but only local user definition on LDAP.
thank you in advance to all.
hello
Gianluca

Hi,

A couple of questions:

After you run the task, the users can se the app in the access point?

Can you see the permissions in Documents -> User Documents -> 'your document' -> Autorization?

Regards!

Hi Gianluca,

I'm guessing that system users are users in the local directory, if that is the case then you have to configure the Local Directory in System -> Setup -> Directory Service Connectors -> DCS@your_server -> Local Directory

The field that has the users must be in the format 'domain\username' and for the local users must be 'machinename\username'

Hope this helps

well Gabriela, it's correct but, if u want set correct permission on the single file i have reduce, use the local user definititon in DSC and after in the task definition in tab 'Distribute' the setting in field 'Loop in field document' have to set check user identity on to 'SAMAccountname' and use the 'domainname\username' convention, i have set in this way and now all work well.

thanks for help and meet you next time

regards
