I have two filters on a date island DateIslandMonth and DateIslandQuarter.
My first problem is;
Using the field triggers, I've tried to clear the DateIslandMonth when a value in the DateIslandQuarter is selected and vice versa with very little success. I can clear the DateIslandMonth filter from the DateIslandQuarter but going the other way the DateIslandQuarter filter refuses to clear unless I use Clear All which will clear other defined filters
My next task will be to acheive the following functionality if possible;
I'd like to select Q1 from the DateIslandMonth and have Apr, May, Jun selected in DateIslandMonth, and the consequently if Apr May Jun selected in the DateIslandMonth then have Q1 selected in the DateIslandQuarter.
If the months selected in the DateIslandMonth filter do not comply to full quarters then do not highlight anything in the DateIslandQuarter filter.
I'm very much a newbie to Qlik and have tried a number of things, can anyine point me in the right direction?
